While in Wichita for my sister's (Aspen's) graduation, Grandma and Grandpa bought all 3 kids cowboy boots. This is the only time Ezra has had them on. He pulls them off and refuses to wear them -- the direct opposite of Eli, who seems to now have his boots glued to his feet.
Did I mention that aunt Angie bought them all stick horses to go with their new boots?
We also had a chance to spend some time with my grandmother (Nana). The kids enjoy the birds outside her room and we brought some games to play with her too.
I am impressed with all the improvements at the local park in my hometown, Hooker, OK. They have a very nice play area for the kids. Ang and Zayne played and swung with everyone. I thought this pic turned out well (thanks to Zayne holding Ezra's shirt from behind as he was trying to launch himself off the rock).
Toward the end of our trip, we headed to Enid and while there had a chance to visit with Miriam and Mazie too. Here is everyone (minus Ezra who wasn't too thrilled with the water) playing in the water at Leonardo's Discovery Center in Enid. Above is Miraim the martian and Emma Armstrong.
